6 and half weeks old, chestnut ''miss attitude'' filly is doing well. She has grown and is very strong - and stubborn! She doesn't like being caught, she doesn't like going into OR out of her stable either, so we feel like drawing straws to see which unlucky sole has to 'TRY' to lead her!! But, she is still adorable, like all foals should be.
I took a few photos and a video, which I warn you all is p1ss poor quality, but for all you beady eyed people, you will see how much she has changed.

Sooooo glad you updated on her, what did they do with her in the end, confine her to a box, turn her out on a hill 24\7, limited t\o etc etc etc:D

Love the vid, she LOOKS like a madam (already!!!!!!!)

Special little shoes for 2 weeks, limited but ever increasing turn out into a small flat nursery paddock.
Last week she was turned out with a slope in her paddock for the first time, she can now be classed as 'normal'. She has travelled to NewMarket in the lorry and back again (mare was coverd and now is in foal again) and was a good girl throughout. Her aim is to go into training at the start of her 2 year old, if plans stay on track (excuse the pun!)

All I can tell you is that a friend of mine ended up with a windswept foal last year. That little filly is now an absolute cracker and you would never know there had been any kind of question mark about her when she was born. I hope you and your foal have just as good an outcome.
