How sad I was to read in today's H and H Pammy H column that Amber has died.
We met her when I took CCJ there for a lesson on an Advanced horse.
Within ten minutes they were producing flying changes despite C's inexperience, that horse was such a forgiving sort.. Perfect for teaching because provided they gave the correct aids, she produced the goods..
I don't know how they would ever replace her, and if there's a horse Heaven, may she graze on lush grass in sunshine for evermore.. She's earned it.

ah no.

she was wonderful, have ridden her many times mainly for universities competitions but had so much fun. Also rode her for talent spotters finals back in 2001 and although I had never really ever done flying changes before I was able to produce clean changes with her.

She will have had several fans and yes lets hope she is now grazing at rainbow bridge.
