Taken from the Daily Mail today, I found this quite touching to read and I'm sure many you will relate to this just as I do, we all have our problems and disappointments in life, however the one thing that will always put a smile on your face and keep you grounded no matter what, is your horse.

While I like and understand the sentiment, bits of the story didn't ring true at all for me. I think a fair bit of artistic licence has been applied.

What got me though, was that someone who had suffered such a serious head injury, with young children, would then pose for a national newspaper without a hat
