Just seen on facebook that apparently Lennox is being discussed on the Wright Stuff this morning, Channel 5 9.15 am.

Didn't see the programme, but will try and catch it later, but the comments underneath the article are horrendous, and just so ignorant.

without being awful.... if my dog had been in kennels for years id have him pts for his own sanity

i know they are fighting for their dog but is it really fair to make the dog suffer this long? I dont understand why its taken this long to make a decision.

I have said the same plenty of times too, not sure if actually in that position i'd be able to or not, but i believe i would.

It would worry me that a dog thats been in that isolation and who knows how mistreated might not come out the same dog and then god forbid he actually did hurt someone no-one whould believe that he was ever a kind dog in the first place before his ordeal

The comments are disgusting though, no understanding at all, so many people just saying just get another dog!! I had to stop reading as i just got angry

Comments on anything related to dogs in the Guardian are always ignorant - full of people basically saying that all dogs are dangerous, all dogs want to hurt children, all dogs should be muzzled, all dogs should be killed, people with dogs are lonely, socially inept nutters... I have given up reading them as they are just too depressing.

That said, I never actually meet anyone who appears to think Henners is a child-murdering monster, so I can only assume that these people are either trolling, or keep their unfortunate offspring locked away 24/7 in front of the TV to protect them from the scary world.

There are kennels and kennels. Lennox would be extremely comfy,warm and happy in my kennels!
