No questions really, just wanted a little moan as I am bit down about it all. Its no surprise, my YO has not been well and unfortunatly has an illness that will not get better. Her husband wants to take life a bit easier and their children have taken different paths in life and don't want to run a livery yard. So she made the decision to put it on the market. Now, it could take a while to sell, a new owner might make it business as usual so it will have no real effect on us, but whatever happens, I will miss her terribly. We have a good relationship, she has been a great friend through some tough times. If the worst comes to the worst, and things change so much we are not longer happy there, I may have to leave a yard where my two boys are very happy and that suits my two children and myself as well. Its horrible having an uncertain future. I hope a new owner will let it continue as I will miss so many people up there. I have been spoilt in my 13 years of horse ownership and I have never had to leave a yard unless I wanted to. My first yard I was there for eight years and we only left as we were moving country, we have been on this yard for nearly four! Sorry for the pity post and thanks for reading. All the posts I read on here about people being unhappy at their yards has really made me appreciate where we are. Its not perfect, nowhere is, but everyone is happy and that is the main thing.
