A HORSE that was stolen from its paddock on Thursday night is still to be tracked down.

The 25-year-old bay gelding was taken from a field in Cherry Hill, St Albans, between midnight and 1am.

Jackie Garnett, investigating officer, said: "The theft of this horse has caused its owner much distress and I am asking for the public's assistance in helping to trace the person responsible and to reunite the horse with its owner."
