Thefts in Warwickshire/West Mids - ANSTY

Hi there just to let you know I've had a few texts this week re horses being stolen in and around warks. One of which belongs to a friend.

2 horses stolen from a5 near nuneaton..... 4 were taken from ansty last week and some got out on the a45 monday night between Coventry and birmingham airport, one of which was fatally injured. This happened as a result of the gate being lifted off its hinges, a ribbon was left on the gate and tyre tracks left by the vehicle, believed to be used with a trailer. They are using a green transit van, registration unknown, and leaving green or blue ribbons on gates as a marker. The vehicle used to transport the horses is not yet known.

Its up to all of us to keep an eye out xx

I had heard about the one in Ansty & attempted one on A5 but nobody seems to know anymore details so I had then heard it was a hoax?

Does anybody know anymore details, what horses were taken etc?

I certainly can not find anything to indicate it is for real but am at a loss as to why people would make something up like that?

Would really like to know if it is real bit close to home!!
