A nice person has shot our cat today. She is the nices cat i know. Some workmen found her at the bottom of the drive laying down thought she was dead. He picked her up and realised she was alive, came up to the house and she was rushed to the vets. The pellet has gone in her shoulder up next to her spinal cord. She cant walk but does have feeling in her back feet and tail so fingers cross once the swelling goes down there wont be any lasting damage. All her front claws and pads are damaged we think she has pulled herself home. I really hope she pulls through she is one of the best cats ive known. She is still puring and padding with her front feet when anyone goes to see her. sorry for spellings im just so upset.
 
Positive thoughts hun, my vet gave my horse 24 hours to live! Shes alive and well today, a month on.

There are some sick f*****s about, there was ones here that stuck a firework up a cats bum and lite it, makes you think what they are capable of later in life

I hope you have told the police. Round here at least they are quite keen on this sort of thing (happens far too often unfortunately) and may well have an idea who might have done it. Hope your cat pulls through, sounds as if she is a fighter so sending loads of positive vibes.
 
yes I'd report it to the police too as it might be a cat this time and a person next time and nutters with guns who shoot pets should be held to account. I'd go freakin' ape if someone shot my cat. Hope your little one makes it,
