So on our hack today a car stopped for us to get past and as we approached the man got out and opened the cattle grid gate for us and held it open! Random, no one has ever done that before!

Haha I just couldnt believe it, that someone would be so kind to do that. Normally people shut gates even if they see us coming!

I think its a devon thing - we have to go past a cattle grid in Belstone to get to the moor and frequently the drivers will stop and open the gate for us. And the walkers all open moor gates for the horses. We really have the nicest visitors to this area.

Nice to know some drivers can get out of the car without shouting abuse! luckily i dont do any hacking, hoping to start soon i guess!

Not just a Devon thing bosworth coz I do that for local riders if I turn up at the cattle grids at the same time riders do! Sort of self preservation really as I'd like to think someone would do it for me. {{Note: no-one has yet!!!}}
