I have just finished off the final finger on my left hand! I dislocated the little one last week coming off the bucking monster, the index finger got skinned a couple of months ago and the nail has finally dropped off, leaving it very sore indeed. The one next to it now has a huge blister thanks to me having to ride with it as the other two are strapped together, and now I have managed to drop a jump pole on the last remaining healthy finger squishing it between the pole and the lip of the barrel. Didn't look under my gloves as figured it would just be bruised, then noticed that my glove was wet, took it off and finger has nice big hole in it, blood everywhere. So the only thing working on that hand is my thumb!

I have to be the most accident prone person ever, it is getting ridiculous now!

Plus a little update on the bucker, he has been getting better and better with each ride, today I jumped him and didn't once feel like he would explode. Really pushed him on the flat and asked him some pretty tough questions, and he just did everything I asked, no tantrums. I know he will never not be a bucker, but just though I would let those who were interested know how we were getting on.

OUCH! Nails coming off makes me crrringe! Glad the horse is going better

I couldn't actually believe it when I saw it, you know when you stub a toe and it is agony for a minute or too, then you look and toe looks normal, well it felt like that, but unfortunately didn't look normal when I looked!

oh madhector..I do feel like I just want to pad you out with sponge so stop you from hurting yourself...
Im pleased the bucker is doing better...well done, all the hard work is paying off...just take care of yourself...:)

sad about the digit!!! fab news about the bucker!! iwas always told the best horses were usually quirky in someway, hes obv v clever and needs some distraction from bottom hopping!!!!!!!!well done u for sticking with it!!!!

I dont think he will ever be trustworthy tbh, and owner still isnt keen on geting back on. My aim is to find someone who just wants to ride and compete to work him, but think will be a while before I trust him enough to put someone else on him.

i know how you feel
one of mine banged me in the face today not sure if i've broken my nose bloody hurts though.
blood went everywhere and now i have a major headache !!

well done with the bucker rather you than me...

Perhaps MH, you should wrap yourself up in cotton wool before you walk out your door in the mornings

Good news about the bucker! They usually do improve, scratch the surface and they are normally very nice horses :3!

Ok so the answer is obvious here.....
