I took this of Carerra and her 'husband' earlier today. It is so nice to see a mare and stallion living out as nature intended. Will have her scanned a week tomorrow. Can everyone send some positive vibes for the (possible) baby inside!!!

I totally agree, my mare went out with her stallion as she is usually very difficult to cover, he worked his magic on her and she fell on love! Result was scanned 15 days pregnant last week on first attempt! She is 16

She is home now and seems extremely chilled and relaxed, I have never seen her like it before! Just have to pray she hangs onto the little one now.

Positive vibes to you and your mare, I think natural is best

Thanks for your reassuring words! My mare is 15 years old. I brought her home last month after 2 weeks out with the stallion.
She was all alone on our isolation yard for 2 weeks, and I am sure that stress made her reabsorb the foetus.
She was scanned coming back into season, so took her straight back to the stallion. She will have been there 3 weeks on Thursday, so will have her scanned next week.
If in foal she will stay for a few weeks - don't want to upset her again!!!
Fingers crossed for your mare xx
