Just thought id let you know that if you are having problems with your horse and you think that things are just going from bad to worse dont be disheartend it will get better :-)
Ive had lot of niggly problems with my boy, over the past couple of years, one thing after another, then because i hadnt been riding for years things just didnt work the way they did :-/ legs back, sitting up straight, all those little things that make a big difference :-)

Well im very very pleased to say that after all the crap ive had things are finally coming together, my horse is fit and well and is going like a dream and my riding has improved immensely :-) after having lots of lessons and feeling like giving up its suddendly coming together nicely.. a big thank you to my very patient trainer, Serina :-)

bit of a pointless post really , i know but im just so happy with my boy hes an absolute star, i just wanted to say to all having problems dont give up it, everything will turn out ok in the end :-)

Not pointless at all. It's nice to read a post when things are going well.
Well done for all your hard work and never giving up. It's always worth it in the end.
And I think anything you have to fight for, work hard at, cry over is always more precious to us in the end. :)

Good post Laura - too many poeple give up too easily. You're unbelievably lucky if you find the perfect horse straight away. We never have. My schoolmaster was a prat for the first 18 months - or was it that I just hadn't got into his head and he mine?

Dangerous horses with serious issues apart, people need to think more like a horse sometimes. Respect is a two way street with them and thoughtfulness a necessity.

Glad to hear it has come right for you ticobay831

Thankyou for your nice comments, totally agree, allot of people are far too quick to blame the horse, we sometimes need to try and work out why things go wrong because more often than not its rider error or the horse just isnt right somewhere.
I love my horse too bits and it has been hard work for both of us, but its well and truely paid off. :-)
