... this one struck a cord with me. Nowzad is a charity that helps the rescue of stray dogs and cats in Afganistan and Iraq.
I think it strikes a cord with me, because it's got two purposes, one it helps inspire the soliders out there and gives often ex fighting dogs a lot better life.
