Hi, asking for some help on behalf of a friend.
Can anyone recommend a veterinary practice in the UK, close as possible to the westcountry who use thermal imaging for diagnosis purpose in horses.
Any help, links will be much appreciated.

Hi

I used SyncThermology for my horse. She had already been diagnosed with a bicep tear and navicular, but she was getting worse so I spent £250 to get a full body scan.

Best thing I ever did as it revealed more issues with her back legs, neck, spine and pelvis. My vets were not overkeen on it useage when I asked them to translate the results, however, it must have had some use as when I took her back into the hospital that immediately xrayed her back and it revealed severe kissing spine (that hadn't been picked up at all up to that point). The thermal people were also able to tell me that her bicep was mended on the outside but not fully healed from the inside (where as traditional scanning was telling us it was completely mended).

Personally I think they are worth there money, provided you have the right conditions to take all the pictures and a good thermal imaging company in the first place.
