Thermatex quarter sheet sizing - help please!

Looking to buy a thermatex quarter sheet but they don't accept returns so I'm super worried about getting the sizing right!

Horse wears a 6'6 PE which according to thermatex equates to a 4'6 sheet . HOWEVER. They also recommend a 4'6 sheet for a horse in a 6'3 rug and I would say my boy is more 6'6/ 6'9 rug which would then push us into the 4'9 sheet bracket..... Soooo are they better being a little big or a little snug?

Sorry, I know it probably sounds daft, but for nearly £70 I don't want to order it wrong!

PE rugs are a size bigger than stated. Be best to measure the horse if you're unsure.

You're probably right. Where are measurements taken from for exercise sheets and I'll get the ball of string out tonight!?

With the thermatex quarter sheet, you do have wriggle room as there are long straps with Velcro to go under the saddle.
