thermatex rugs

I have been having a look at thermatex rugs with the view to buying one, thought would make nice smart travelling rug for shows etc. How does the sizing work compared to say fal rugs. I am not sure what size to order. Are they worth the money and also which one would you buy.

We have around 15 now and they are fab. Ours have gone on for years, I think the eldest is about 12. In my experience you buy a size smaller than your horse would normally take so if your horse is a 6'6" you'd only need a 6'3". I'm not sure how this would compare to fal rugs though.

they usually tell you to order a size smaller than you would normally buy. My horse is a 6' and has a 5'9 thermatex which fits him nicely.

another vote for they come up big but are well worth getting!

They are worth every penny. I really like the original, the 2000 just has smaller squares. You do need to get a size smaller than your normal rugs as they come up huge and stretch
