Do you need to use gamgee under these, and is it safe to leave them overnight? Have used the wraps before when Sparks legs are wet as she is prone to mud fever, but as her hind legs have been filling over night, I thought bandages might be better. However if gamgee need underneath then then won't the gamgee/legs stay wet/damp?

I've got the thermatex leg wraps - the quilted ones like the rugs - and I don't put anything underthem and I leave them on all night. I call them Ludo's leg warmers as that's exactly the reason I put them on him - when it's very cold! Mine are quite loose, they don't fall down as such but it's impossible to overtighten them as they are a bit baggy

I've used the bandages but now use the wraps. I never put any gamgee under the bandages I don't think you can put in too tight they are too bulky. I'm sure you are ok with nothing underneath the bandages
