Been trying to stalk the Thermatex website to decide which colour rug to get my spoiled ginger spud this autumn, but it seems to have been down for ages. Something related to cloud flare. Anyone know what’s up? Hope Thermatex aren’t in trouble.

They’ve recently been bought by another company, I think last year…unless they’ve had more issues? I hope not!

I asked last week on one of the Thermatex sale groups as I wanted to check out the prices for a new rug for my youngster . A couple of people replied saying it was still very much in production and they’d been to the shop/seconds factory within the last month.

Odd not to have a notice on their website or Facebook page saying what’s going on though. Equus selling off a lot of random sizes and colours quite cheaply (which is what made me wonder if Thermatex had closed down initially).

I might try emailing them on Monday then. They can’t be doing much business without a website

They aren't far from me or were, they seemed to have moved from the usual warehouse. Bought out this year (vale Bros have owned Thermatex since 2005) by Bliss of London.
I have a feeling that Thermatex is closed down this end and is relocating to Walsall but I could be wrong.

Haven’t Bliss also bought Jeffries saddlery?
Quite a portfolio, I do hope Thermatex keep afloat, especially since Lansdown have disappeared!

I did email them and got a very quick reply:

“Thank you for your email. We are still manufacturing but our website is currently being rebuilt! If you know what you are after please feel free to email me and I can give you prices, process your order direct and raise an invoice.”

I replied with some other questions about a specific rug but haven’t heard back yet.

Last time I ordered from Equus it was an absolute nightmare. I would tread carefully.

I agree, be very careful with them and also if customer services say something is dispatched check the tracking no. with the courier.

Yep I’d never use them they have terrible reviews

Good news! The thermatex website is up and running again!
Not so good news… can only seem to select size of the rug, not colour or anything else
