"These blades are no longer serviceable" - what?!?

When i turned over my clipper blade pack last night i found a sticker had been stuck on them saying "These blades are no longer serviceable"

I was most confused, particularly as it was the clipper sharpening company who had stuck it there but had also put my blades down as 'undamaged'

So i've sent them back to be sharpened anyway, they are only a year old and probably done less than 20 clips in all!

I don't understand?!

how many times have they been sharpened?

if they have been done a lot they may be too thin to sharpen again without risk of them snapping
