a tinker or a vanner is that horse unshaven, but in a show cut with "hogging" (basically feathering shaved off) they're called cobs.

...they are vanners; small draught animals, not designed for riding

They're all called Gypsy Cobs in Australia, every example I have seen are more than average looking (but colour, hairy colour!!!) and they are always advertised for 6k+ pounds... someone over there should capitalise
