Rambo - you said your Grade B hadnt won any/much money so how comes he's grade B? Can you only do a certain amount in each class before they move you up? Have just joined BSJA but my rule book hasent arrived yet and I'm impatient.. Just worried that it I do too many BN's they will boot me into to big a class (me a wimp not the horse)

Thankies xx

I think when horses are imported from abroad they are graded with a certain amount of winnings according to their age, so they could be a Grade B without even winning any money.

You can do as many BN's as you like but if you win £100 notional you are no longer eligible for BN. You won't get booted into a bigger class though because you can still jump BN HC and 90cm Amateur classes etc.

Well firstly it isn't my horse who is a Grade B...but the way it happens is because the horse is imported at 8yrs or older it is automatically graded as an A. Since it was imported the Grade A limit has gone up from 1800 to 2000 pounds so the horse is left with 1800 on it's card and thus Grade B.
