Just a little warning.

Thieves (I will refrain from using the 'g' word here, but I think we can safely assume who it was) have stolen our horsebox battery, daihatsu battery, and the fuel from at least the horse box :mad:

Only noticed today as was taking the wagon out for a run before I have to take my horse on weds to see the osteo, but been taken in the last week or so. Luckily the neighours have cctv covering our entrance track, so you never know.

Wonder when channel 4 will do a programme highlighting this lovely aspect of this 'society' :mad:

Thanks for the warning.
Sorry you've lost your stuff, I hope you manage to replace it before you need the box on Weds.

Fingers crossed that your neighbours cctv comes up trumps.

I hate it when stuff is stolen, it makes me so mad, 3 hours later and I'm still fuming! :mad:

Considering either getting our own cctv, or finding somewhere else to store the box, otherwise they'll just wait til we've replaced it and come back. :mad;

Nope not yet, will do though.

We don't keep anything there now, no tack kept ther for 15 years now, we had it stolen twice before we learnt that lesson, then had 4 generators stolen. Luckily now have electric, and only keep rugs and essentials there, must bring the clippers home today too!

Only noticed today, makes us seem really thick - that they also stole our lovely big polyjump wings from the shed they were in. And found out a lovely new yard only a mile or so away, had all their new jumps stolen, and all their feed last weekend, so beware - they are around :mad:

interesting and agree someone needs to make a TV programme a few years ago the police knew a friends car was on a particular travellers site. They told him it was there. They would not go in to get it back. The friend was a serving police officer and could not believe it!

My hairdresser was told exactly the same when their Ford Cosworth was stolen knew it was on particular travellers site. Wouldnt go in! Again repeat she couldnt believe it. They even moved their other cars lifted them out the way to get the Cosworth.

Like lots of things we think we have redress but we dont.

This is in the shadwell/bardsey area so kind of equidistant between Leeds and Wetherby.

Police will never go and get peoples stuff back, I've half a mind to paint postcodes on all the rugs now. We'll be making some cheap, unstealable practise jump wings now, I'll be painting the postcode on those, and might even write some abuse aimed at thieving scum on them, just in case they think about it. Maybe something about a curse?
