wipeout

My friend and I went riding this evening, parked up in a layby (We go there quite often) and went off for an hour or so.
As we were tacking up a very distinctive blue twin-cab pick up drove past very slowly, I waved to thank the driver for slowing down. She drove to a gateway 100 yards further up and drove back past very slowly, we presumed she may have thought she knew us and didn't think anything more of it when she carried on past and disappeared around a bend.
When we returned to the lorry both our leather headcollars were missing, the ropes were still there. Obviously in hindsight we shouldn't have left the headcollars unlocked but we have been doing it for years and never had a problem before. We'll be locking them away in future but it's very annoying.
We don't know that pickup woman has anything to do with it but it does seem to be a bit of a coincidence.
Does anyone have any recommendations for Extra Full size English Leather Headcollars at a reasonable price?!......
