Thieving robdogs! Why?!

Explain this to me as i'm beyond baffled....

Last night someone must have climbed through a hedge, over a barbed wire fence, through post and rail fencing, across the outdoor school, through a gate to steal.....wait for it.....nothing but my wheelbarrow!!

They then took said wheelbarrow back the way they came, leaving just a wheel track across the school as evidence of their crime.

Why oh why, what was the point of that - its just a wheelbarrow!!

They quite possibly used to carry some other stuff they had helped themselves to. Irritating though, a decent wheelbarrow ain't cheap.

Nothing else on the yard appears to be missing though - we are all baffled!

Hope they get a puncture - theiving scumbags - matilda's right though and they may come back for more so it's worth informing the Police no matter how trivial you think it is , they can warn other yards in your area that there's a tealeaf about. If you get another barrow it might be worth painting your postcode on it in huge letters..should put them off..

yes i have brought my tack home with me tonight just to be on the safe side.

My barrow had 'Chico' written on in big letters and writing on the top too (telling people not to borrow it, lol!)

I may inform the police in the morning.

That is crap, and wheelbarrows are not cheap.

People can be gits !!!! I found my wheelbarrow and neighbours wheelbarrow at beginning of lane to horses last yr - when I got to my yard I realised they had used the wheelbarrow to wheel away my generator and hole borer !!!!! Hopefully you wont have anymore problems - we put up a dummy camera and havent had any problems since !

out of interest we also managed to claim on the house insurance as the items were "temporarily removed from the house".

we wondered that but quickly dismissed it - no kids near by and i dont upset people!
