After months of trying to fit a saddle to my fat pudding off a horse, I've finally got one - yay! (Invicta by the way, very reasonable bespoke tack)
When we were trying on every saddle under the sun the best fitting ones were the monoflap or close contact saddles, although they were all dressage or jumping and I wanted GP. So we eventually tailored a GP to be as 'close contact' as possible to avoid the rolling associated with rotund witherless horses.
Now I need to find a numnah/saddlecloth to go with it - I need something as thin as possible. My instructor suggested some rubber half pad but I definitely want something full - after all the money spent on the saddle I don't want it getting sweaty! Can anyone recommend some brands? I really like the Gygax saddlecloths but can't find them over here.
Thanks!
