Just wondering if anybody had come across Thin Line pads ? If so, what did they think ...

They are on here. http://thinlineinc.com/

They are sold in this country and have also seen on Ebay sometimes. Wondered if they are as good as they say ?

They really are amazing. You would never think it as they are so thin. All the horses go better in them and you will feel an amzaing difference in your seat, the gaits are actaully easier to sit. There don't seem to be any drawbacks, they are light, breatheable and seem to last forever! I ordered mine online from their shop but I hear they will be available in tack shops in the UK this year. I say go for it. They are worth the price!

Am trying to decide between one of these or a nuumed sheepskin numnah !

Horse is throwing head up and down when you mount. Saddle has just been reflocked as he has got fatter & I have vet next week to check teeth and back. However he doesn't do it if somebody stands by him and distracts him while rider mounts, so I am wondering if it is a habit he has got from previous back pain/bad fitting saddle ??

So if vet draws a blank I was wondering if a thinline pad or similar might just help. I don't think he is cold backed as he is fine once you are on and does not try to buck or anything - in any case always tack him up slowly and walk him in hand round the school a few times before mounting. Just don't like to think he is in any pain.

Any thoughts welcome.
