That's so strange I was only commenting about the same thing with P'd last night; it appears to be thinning; and I dont even brush it; will only wash the day before a show?

Is your horse turned out with others? Just a thought..... my ponie's tail went very thin towards the bottom but is fine at the top. i bought a foal at the end of last year and a few times i have caught her actually chewing his tail and pulling bits out! i have since seperated them so hopefully it will grow back!!

When I bought my mare she had a very thin tail and rubbish feet. Now ( one year later ) both are fab. She's been on farriers formula and has oil in her feed, which makes me think that there was some deficiency causing her tail to be so thin. Hope this helps.

Rub MTG (by Shapley's) on the tail and in no time you will see better growth.
