is there a product about for helping tail regrowth?! or is that just completely stupid!

I've just bought a product called Megatek (at the recommendation of TheresaF). It's supposed to aid in hair grown etc.

Not sure if it works or not, but TF certainly likes it - and it smells great.

It's not cheap - but what is with horses?????

I've found the one and only thing which helps is to never brush the tail. Spray conditioner in and untangle with your fingers, but NEVER brush it.

Yes I know but I want some to grow back not prevent!

Its on my new horse so the damage is done!!

use hairbrush, and de tangler, never any other horsey brush unless specialist tail brush etc...!

I tried the megatek and it did nothing for my horses mane or tail just smelt good

Have u tried rubbing in cornecresin? Its superb for putting on scars for hair regrowth so could work for tails

I expect if anything really, really worked, they'd be selling it for humans and making a fortune!

The only thing i have found that works is never brush it if u want to do it only once a week and always use detangler
