I know we all moan about things, weather, housework, dogs, horses, kids. But after hearing this story of missing Madeleine over the last 10 days, it has really made me put things into perspective and realise how lucky I am, it may be raining and things may not always be perfect, but I appreciate how lucky I am just to have my family, animals and daughter safe. My daughter is also 4 yrs old so can appreciate how precious and innocent children of this age are, so un spoilt and trusting. I hope she gets found safe and well soon, I am going out of my mind with worry for her.

You're not alone in your anxiety. Little Maddy is the last thing on my mind at night and the first thing in the morning. Listening to the reports, I cling to the hope that she has been abducted by a couple desperate for a child, so they will look after her. The alternative is almost too much to bear.

Glad its not just me then! I have been watching Sky news everytime I come into the house, I dont want to watch anything else as nothing else seems important. I am paranoid already about things like that with my own daughter, I just hope the same as you that a couple desperatley wanted a child. I just keep thinking if they would have never left the children this never would have happened.

I agree with you, it puts our everyday moans in the shade. My "little girl" is now 18 but I so feel for Maddy's parents, just can't imagine what they are going through. And as you say, there is the "if only" factor.
