Hello I am looking for somewhere to take my horse on 12 or 13 Nov. We are restricted in what we can do as she cant compete so I am looking for suggestions of things to do - I have looked into the beach but the tide times dont look too good. Are there any nice bridleways that you have been on that dont require a TOLL badge?

Thanks in advance.

Depends where in Kent you're looking. There are bridleways close to J2 of the M20 that don't require a TOLL badge but most of west kent is TOLL routes only. Ashdown Forest just over the border in Sussex is fab but you would need to look into a day permit I think.

If you want to head down towards the coast the downs between St Margarets and Kingsdown has some of the best off road hacking I've ever ridden on and isn't TOLL or permit based.

Or if you are prepared to pay to ride around beautiful farmland with little jumps I can thoroughly recommend Denne Hill.

Bedgebury forest is lovely - some of it is TROT but there are plenty of public bridleways as well. There is also Bewl water.
