What are some things that can be worked on/improved with your horse? Looking for as many different ideas as possible, specifically where the difference can be shown in a series of photos, or given a number on a scale

My boy has a lot of old injuries so for me it's lots of transitions to get him more powerful behind and lots of pole work

Well I just bought a horse my first, I'm lucky as he is very trained GP level, jumping and dressage ... But so trained I have to ride correctly, so for me it's all about transistions and lots of them, getting on the bit and keeping him there
I also do stride work, so I'll ride a circle count the steps ad repeat both ways if I get the same I know I have good control, serpentine the same Trot and canter I'll extend and collect to see how I do,
Other things I do (I'm quite new to this by the way) I suppose these basics also help me ride better which again makes the horse more responsive and listens to me better
For jumping again I'll work on extending my stride or decreasing in the same round
Lots of related distance jumps when I'll do 5 stride same jump, 9 strides and so on.
If you are more experienced rider piaffe and passage work and
pirouetteS :)
