So, I figured since we have a "things you hate" I thought we should have a "things you love" :)

I love it when Ned actually goes nicely into trot (Normal trot!) with no rushing or pacing.
It's getting more and more common :D

The smell of fresh hay.

That bouncy trot they do through water.

When I give Ned cuddles and he rests his chin on my shoulder.

I'll think of more! For now, dog walking time!

Leaving a stable in darkness, to the sound of contented hay-munching.

The smell of my horses.

Opening the curtains in the morning and seeing them, priceless.

Pricked ears, a whinny of recognition and the walk towards me over the field when I call his name.

The lovely soft down and little tache that my cob grows over his very pink nose in winter.

Snuffling in my pockets for treats

Warming my hands under his mane on a cold winter ride.

Thick warm straw beds and full haynets

I love a nice big straw bed,

In the mornings when you get up and its freezing .. you change your horses rug and you put your hands underneath there rug and there all warm!

I love it when I call maisie to get her in from the field and she comes running over

When she behaves herself and doesnt play up :P

When I leave and maisie all snug as a bug in her rug munching on her haynet ..

hmm there are others lol

This has only happened twice, but waiting and waiting after a show to see where you placed...then realising I got 2nd place :D On NED! I have never got higher than 3rd XD even on the 'perfect' horses :D

The feel of their hair after they've been clipped ^^

Fjord manes!

When cars stop, smile and wave back to me :)

Those funny ears on Marwari's!

The smell of stables!

Seeing our foals born and hearing their dams first nickers to them pure magic to my ears, having a kiss from our stallion after he has greeted my husband and I every morning
And lastly seeing our horse just being content in the field knowing that they are well fed cared for and loved that all.
I am disabled and can no longer ride so i derive pleasure from so many other things now.
when I was a girl it was galloping as fast as I could on the moors jumping gorse and having tears in my eyes from the wind as my TB was so fast unforgettable cherished memories that never die.
