Have had my boy for 2.5 yrs now, losty confidence on him so didn't hack out much, now have started hacking out again and traffic just blows his mind. Have had people out to help me but he can't get over this phobia. I love him so much, he's my life!

Am on phone so didn't finish! So I think I will be advertising him at the weekend. Has anyone had any luck with, loan with a view to buy? He's 100% in every way just no good in traffic on his own, ok with a nanny tho? He's 6 in august. Thanks kate

I think as long as you are totally honest with potential new owners, and realistic with price, you'll find someone, especially if he has other talents. Not everyone has to hack on roads, or even wants to.

Good luck x

Just to give you hope I decided to sell my ISH after 7years of owning him. Very inteligent quirky horse, who has issues hacking on his own. Didn't want much for him just a good home. First chap who came to see him loved him, I was completly honest, he had him a two week trial, I delivered him, he emailed me every day with their adventures and after 5 days decided to keep him. This was after the horse had stood on the drive refusing to move for 40 mins on the first day. His new owner did compliment me for my honest opinion of the horse. Where he has gone there is hardly any road work, so if he naps or stops there is no danger.

So there is someone for every horse, I miss him but am not sad as he he getting the work he loves with someone who understands him. :)

This. If you're honest and price is reasonable you'll find the right buyer. Lots of sellers aren't honest and finding one that is would be quite refreshing! Good luck.

I've just had my horse on trial with a view to buy, I insured him fully including loss of use. My trial was for 3 weeks but i brought him after a month and he has passed a 5 stage vetting. I have always brought after a small, with the exception of one which was returned to the dealer.
