Well we have been working very hard to gain more weight and muscle and i think we've now got there if not a bit to much weight :p lol ... I've posted him before but just to recap hes a 16hh 7yr Tb is out 5-6 days a week for an hr consisting of; 1 lunging sess, 1 pole work/jumping sess, 1 hack and 2-3 flatwork sessions. Atm he gets 3kg Conditioning cubes, 1kg Alfa Oil, 3 tablespoons soya oil and lots of haylage. We did have him on 3kg performance mix (very oaty) and 1kg Alfa Oil at the beginnig of the summer to perk him up and gain weight but after a month he got to spooky which is not him at all so changed back to CC at a higher quantity which he works well on with enough energy with no spooking. But i want to change him onto a less cereal based diet like Outshine or something which would give the same results as the CC at a lower quantity. And possibly not send him crackers either please :D Any recommendations please??

A wee bit of a belly :D

I swear by Saracens Releave and their Equijewel :D. Has put weight on without going mad on a six year old DWB and two TBs, both of whom have been on prolonged box rest. No fizz, no madness :D. Quantites are quite small as well, which I needed as the Dizz is a pain when it comes to getting her to eat! She used to get bored and walk off :eek:

Well at least im not the only one who thinks so lol .. hes so weird, i left him in the field for 3 days over the 12th and he came in like a coat rack but he puts the weight back on in days!!! So he gains weight easily and loses it easily to!!! ... We cant get Saracen here but Bluegrass have the exact same feeds (Irish version) ... I had him on the Re leve and it sent him spooky to :o ... They do the Equi jewel so will look into that thanks :D

Very nice indeed :D What do you feed along side the outshine Letslip?

Has anyone tried the D&H Build and Glow? or is that fed in large quantities?

She is just fed a scoop of chaff, half a scoop of nuts and some garlic plus a cup of outshine per feed (fed twice a day) plus soaked hay. She is in at night and out during the day but although good grass not brilliant. Have found with the outshine that it does so much good that there is little need for me to feed much more apart from that (alhtough am sure that perhaps other people need to feed additional stuff alongside it), however I may look to put her onto top line during the winter as I think she is likely to drop off! :)

Well theres room for mine to drop a couple pounds lmao hmmm i think i might keep the Alfa A Oil, soya oil and add either outshine, equi jewel or something similar. Feeding is such a strenuous task to solve
