Well, another trip to the vet on Friday!
I took the dogs to the training field to let them have a great free run. They were having a whale of a time playing.
Then I noticed something on Jess.
She had taken a patch of skin clean off on her side, about 2 inches square. Not deep, it was just like someone had taken a piece of turf!
No bleeding but obviously rang vet and took her straight there. Sedation and 7 stitches and I'm now another £121 worse off!

Absolutely no idea how she did it.

I think I am going to park my caravan at the vets so I can at least save on fuel for the journey there lol.

Glad its not too serious, but ouch for your bank balance. I have a theory that every time I clear my vets bill something else goes wrong, so I have warned them I am always going to keep something outstanding.:p

Since May I must have spent nearly £2000, what with Skye's eye, Jess's mysterious virus, my dear Beau and now this.
It seems as if everthing that can go wrong with the girls (oops, I mean the girls and the boy, now I have Monty) is going wrong at the moment.
I'm off to the supermarket tomorrow to buy all the cotton wool they have and wrap all the dogs in it!

But is it your money,or their insurers? Some policies..good ones too..are as little as £14.50 per month, the excess is £75.00,but it is a protection against those heart stopping bills ,like fractures and stuff.

Sadly it is my money.
Skye's eye would not have been covered anyway as she came to me with a damaged eye. (she , like all of them) was a rehome.
