Think I got a bargain today!! Shires rugs

Our local takc store had it's annual sale and open day, the bargains of the day (me and OH went back AFTER spending £200...!! :O) and OH bought 4 pair of harry hall yard boots....at £4.99 a pair!! Reduced from £39.99!!

Xmas pressies sorted! :D

We got LOADS! The bestest was my posh dublin boots! Ya know, them nice ones! :D
 
And Dodson and Horrell were there and got a lovely bag and a dog bowl and a money off vouchers, which I will use.

Although I have been to this sale for many years, today was the first time I got there at 9 o'clock, and it was heaving, so did not get my usuall master rugs, and I made 'do' with shires!!!

What is you experience with this brand?
 
I got a nuumed numnah on ebay for £7 - used once, its fab. and a pair of Joules waterproof trousers for riding (in handy beige so can be worn hunting) for £6 brand new, and a navy hunt coat which needs a clean and the pocket mending for £9. Cracking value all round.

i think its shires or something (labels do nothing for me!)... only thing you had to do was sew buttons on - no hardship!!

its only to last until we are out competing seriously next year then i shall be getting a proper one :) (more fitted)!....

:( I want bargains. I want to buy my daughter's horse some Professional's Choice bell boots with flowers on and can't find any in her size. I also would like to buy her some sport boots

But yeay for those of you that found good bargains! I am rubbish at shopping!
 
Does anyone know where I can get a Shires whitney day rug for a reasonable price? My old one is far too big for my new lad. My local saddlery stocks them but they are over £100. If anyone has one they want to re-home, I need a 5'9'' ;)
