Well I was out a walk with the dog a few days ago and I slipped down a muddy hill. Landed on my bum and had a twinge in my pelvis since. Yes its the same side that got damaged a few years ago when I got ran over by a horse.

Was up all night with pain so decided I needed a dr appointment. Got one this afternoon and dr has said that I have locked my pelvis joint hence the pain. So he has referred me for physio and given me so lovely painkillers to help in the meantime.

Just thought I'd post this as I am now feeling a little down about it as the last time this happened I was out of action for 7 months :-(

Ouch!! I know this feeling all too well. Physio will sort it out (I'm a physio though so would say that)!! Have you been referred urgently? Urgent shoukd be within the week, roitine about 6 weeks (where I work).

Dr referred me while I was there. He said it may take uptp 2 weeks but my friend was referred a few weeks ago and she was told 6ish weeks. So hope it soon. haha. Or I think i will be round the bend like last time. lol

I would seriously recommend a good chiropractor - they will make the world of difference. Ask around your area for recommendations as there are some excellent ones and some not so excellent :D. I can recommend in North Cumbria if needs be
