Do you know his bloodlines? Is he the foal from the mare rescued with help from the IHDG?
To be honest there are plenty of nice stallions about and too many foals. I'd geld him, get him backed (if he's old enough) and then find him a home.

As he has not made the height you wanted, as you have stated I would say, sell him on, as he is such a good pony you can sell him on for a good price. Given the lack of height coupled with your thoughts to sell him I would say it is the best thing to do in the situation personally

OK, I thought he was the foal from that mare, which is why I asked if you knew his bloodlines. Nothing more than that and no, I don't have an IHDG axe to grind and I didn't donate to buy you the mare.
