Think I've stumbled upon the right bit for George!

Was trying him in a hanging cheek french link snaffle and he was going ok, then today a friend lent me the same bit but in the happy mouth and with a roller instead of a link. What a difference he went really well and we cantered in control on both reins and he barely snatched the bit once - yeah!!

I used to have a similar problem with my mare, she was so so strong I had major trouble keeping control, she was in a Myler Combination bit and fought it constantly. She is now in a Waterford and is a different horse to ride, we now canter and I could hold her with my little finger.....well most of the time

I had mine in a french link and he was OK, tried a happy mouth and he was fab!
