Was at the yard today sorting out Badger, the groom on the yard has two horses on our little block. One is old and retired due to injury I believe.
Anyway, so she got the old one out and took him down to the school, a couple who do western riding and natural horsemanship were down there with her. The western/natural horsemanship woman had her on a long line, with a long stick with a bag on the end - she was literally poking this poor mare in the face with this bag, the mare was running around her looking a bit petrified (not looking sound either).
What's all that about?? She's retired and not even sound so why poke a bloody plastic bag in her face???
My horse is a bit sharp/spooky but no way would I put him through that!! Learn to ride stupid people!!
