Ponio has been on NAF pink powder since I've had him.

Last time I went into our local feed store they didn't have any, and suggested 'think pink' instead. Massive tub for half the price, bargain I thought!

Has anyone else done this & has your horse's behaviour changed? He's been on it for a month now and I think he's a bit more anxious

Can anyone explain to me...in simple terms...if there is any difference in ingredients, what the ingredients can cause in terms of behaviour? I understand there is Linseed in Think Pink.

I use Think Pink and get on very well with it. As far as I know there is nothing 'heating' in it. Linseed oil isn't heating - which is why feeding oil instead of starch is recommended for fizzy competition horses. I shouldn't think there is much oil in it anyway as it is only a powder. I'm not sure what the difference is between Think Pink and the NAF one but I think they are designed to do the same thing.

Hi there Gracie21 just seen your post about our Think Pink and thought we'd help with your query. Think Pink is a concentrated feed balancer that contains a full specification of vitamins and minerals, with a live probiotic yeast to support the digestive environment and feed utilization helping the horse to make the most of what your feeding and ultimately helping to reduce your feed bill. In addition Think Pink contains acid buffers to help mop up any acid that has built up as a result of stress from competing, travelling etc.

Think Pink also has additional linseed oil which is great for adding condition and shine to the coat without 'fizz' as oils are a slow releasing source of energy and at smaller quantities like those found in supplements this isn't going to be a significant energy source in the diet but rather a good source of omega 3. So I would doubt the reason for Ponio's anxious behaviour is a result of adding Think Pink to his diet.

There are contact details on the tub or you can find them on our website if you would like to give us a ring or email us we would be more than happy to advise on Ponio's feeding regime

I use Think Pink.....mine are good doers....soaked hay etc so I feed this. I did use to use Pink Powder but this is cheaper and also has linseed. I think it helps my arab who is prone to gastric irritation too......I'm really happy with it- horses all looking good, nice and shiny- all are unshod with good hooves.
