Im thinking of feeding equine answers 365 http://www.equineanswers.co.uk/prodpage.asp?ProdID=1

To my good doer gelding. I've not had him through a winter so am guessing he will hold weight well with fast fibre and a bit of chaff, but his hoofs aren't great as they had been left too long by his previous owner so whilst trying to get them back to normal with shoe on the fronts only they crumbly on the area which has had pressure put on it- om the farrier.

Also he didn't really appear to have a summer coat just lots of coat loss since March. He is also 5 so would like to take care of what I have. He is in work at least 5 times a week of an hours hacking min w/t/c.

He was on linseed but havent noticed a massive difference in his coat or feet, so thinking of going for an all round supplement. Don't want to go for balancers as he doesn't need the feed and I feel you have to feed to much compared to a mug of fast fibre and a scoop of something.

So I'm wondering if I could feed the basis of equine answers 365 cheaper. Y using linseed from Charnwood and another basis vit/min or something else that people can recommend ?
