Thinking of moving to wood pellet bedding recommendations pls

I know this will probably have been asked lots of times but products change . I am thinking of moving one of my horses to wood pellet bedding as he's filthy and costs a fortune on shavings , straw isn't an option as he eats it .. I have been reading lots about pellets but can't decide which to try . Verdo seems to be a no , looked at aquamax at burleigh but they seem expensive ... Would really appreciate recommendations . They will go on top of rubber mats but happy to take those out if better as he moves them around as they aren't tightly fitted
 
I was recommended five star bedding premium when I looked in to a few years ago and to avoid verdo but in the end didn't swap on to them but I would search all the posts on here as pretty sure there are a lot of threads on this topic
 
Susie, I'm not sure if you've made the switch yet, but my two messy b*ggers spent about 6 months on pellets, then I decided I just couldn't bear it any longer (the constant wet messy beds and the cost!), and switched back to straw.
 
If you muck out correctly you shouldn't get messy beds. I wouldn't want to go back to straw or shavings that's for sure. Guess we are all different.
 
I've just had a email to say white horse are increasingly their prices from the end of the week so if you are thinking of ordering it might be best to do it soon.
