Thinks shes. motorbike on lunge...Tips Please :)

Due to the dark nights creeping in, im being forced to start lunging of an evening. My mare however, dispite being 18, is green on the lunge. She is fine in walk and trot but when she canters she turns into a motorbike. Completly unbalanced, leaning on lunge line and her legs go at a million miles an hour. Does anyone have and tips how to slow her down so we get a nice safe pretty canter

Have you tried lunging her with two lunge lines or using a Pessoa? There quite expensive but really make them work and think about going in a shape instead of being a motorbike!!

Will try with two lunge lines. Dont really want to shell out for a pessoa as shes a happy hacker. Im am lunging for exercise really rather than to improve her way of going but the two lunge lines sound like an idea, thanks!
