Having a bit of a dilemma! How do i thin the mane without taking anything off the length? Wasn't really a problem over the summer but from saturday im going to have to plait for hunting, so it needs sorting out quick 
The bottom part of the mane is fine, but the top part is so thick i end up with plaits the size of golf balls! I've tried using a rake on the underneath but that just made it spikey. What else can i try?
