do they work well??? in the past abby has had real issues with having her mane pulled and her owner suggested a thinning comb, was just wondering how they work?
I find thinning combs are good. Didnt like the solo comb as it left 'just been cut' kind of marks.
You can comb the mane from underneath to thin it... or back comb and wrap round like you would to pull the mane normally but rather than pulling, the comb cuts it (but much better and less harsh cut marks than i found with a solo comb)
I've used a couple of different ones but stick to a combination of a mane comb (the ones with the stanley knife blades) and a solo comb, Ellie WILL kill you if you try to pull her mane so this is my best bet!
