Thinning out and prettying up mane and tail

Hey guys.. well ive been thinking about buddy lately and keep thinking about Buddys mane and tail, they are really thick and horrible.. and just not nice.. and just so thick! I want to make it thin and nice to look at and touch and ride with.. how can i do this? I think i once saw a friend do it by like pulling out the hair with her hands.. but i dont know how to.. what method and stuff.. do i just pull any of them out or... do they grow back.. is there a way to do it.. or a different method? can ya'll please help me please?!

this rake is fantastic for thining manes and tails, it doesnt pull them just thins them. You can do as much or as little as you like.

Sorry to jump in!
Has anyone used the rake on manes? Just wondered how it grows back. It's great for tails!

I used it on loads of manes its great, although make sure you flip then mane onto the wrong side and do the underneath! also it will stick up for a while but soon settles down!
