OH has just logged on to renew his BASC membership, which gives him third party liability insurance, much as I do when I renew with the BHS Gold membership. He checked the NOBS (National Association of Beaters and Shooters) site, and for £20 he is covered for all country sports, including riding. There's a big difference in price, does anyone have any opinions on the levels of insurance etc?

It certainly looks like a good deal, with a good level of cover. I'll be interested to see what others think.
I have public liability insurance with The Good Horsemanship Society (hate the name!), which gives less cover (£2 mill), but specifically covers me riding bitless. Problem is, it's now £70 per year, which includes all sorts of discounts off things I'm not interested in buying. I'd rather pay less and just get the insurance without the "benefits". So interested in a cheaper alternative!
