This Bridle...

I just bought a padded bridle for bill spur of the moment because it was so cheap....

But it has a flash noseband and he usually just has a plain cavesson. I know i dont need the flash strap,but it looks weird without,so would it still be ok to put the strap on,but loose enought that it doesnt affect him,but at the same time,doesnt move around?

I'd carefully take off the loop rather than add a flash just for looks.

You need to adjust the noseband so it is higher and straight

dont use a flash unless you need it.

I think it looks alright without the flash strap, especially if you take it up 3 or 4 holes

You could always cut the flash loop off?

i would adjust the noseband so that it sits halfway between the bottom of the bone on the side of his face and the corner of his mouth.(up a little from the pic)
i would cut the flash thingy off with sharp scissors.
does the browband look a little tight?cant tell from the pic.

okay,i think ill cut it off

I cut mine off with a stanley knife. That way you can angle the cut upward and inward so you won't have an annoying little tag left.

I did that too and it looked perfect. Definatly think you should cut it off, if he doesnt need the flash then dont use it, it can make some horses resistant.
