I can't believe it would work but how is it against animal rights? Surely it is no different to pulling a cart or being ridden unless they are going to work 1 horse all day pulling too heavy a load which of course could also be done with the other 2 things?

It's real apparently!! I emailed them yesterday asking them if this was a joke, this is the reply Ive just received:
"Hello

Ask them why the horses need to be INSIDE the vehicle, surely it would make more sense to store the power created on the treadmills in a battery or something rather than having to waste energy carrying a horse along for the ride?

I went through his website and pointed out all the things I have a problem with, for example he says in his animal rights bit that "no whip is used" yet somewhere else says that if the horse wont walk "a whip is used" - WTF?!
